PILATES-MAT

This class consists of different series of exercises developed by Joseph Pilates which are carried out on a floor-mat. They are executed in a calm, concentrated and conscious way using the centre (powerhouse) of the body as the source of control. During the lesson, Andreas and Aleida use various tools such as the Pilates balance ball, the magic circle and the balance board to stimulate the effect of exercises to a deeper level. After a relatively short period of time, participants become more aware of posture, strength and breathing patterns.


BODY DYNAMIC YOGA

Developed by Andreas Justrich, BODY DYNAMIC YOGA lessons combine active yoga with body-stretching. The effective use of dynamic breathing patterns stands central to the movements which are produced smoothly and vigorously with elegance. The class begins with a warming-up session for the spine, followed by a section with links to a number of Yoga poses and ends with a short meditation to wind down. BODY DYNAMIC YOGA lends itself perfectly to learning physical awareness, gently optimizing one’s strength and gaining a balance of mind and body.


bodyART™

Developed by Robert Steinbacher, bodyART™ training aims to provide a balanced functioning of the human body with a strengthening of muscles. bodyART™ is a ‘workout’ carried out on a floor-mat and provides harmony between physical challenge, stabilization, breath and mental relaxation. It combines elements from yoga, physical training, Japanese DO IN and classical breathing techniques. The principle of Yin and Yang takes centre stage – as one consciously inhales and exhales so the muscles contract and release during the continuous execution of movement exercises. After a bodyART™ class, you feel energized and strengthened with space and relaxation in body and mind.



To provide you with optimal guidance and attention, all PILATES-MAT, BODY DYNAMIC YOGA and bodyART™ classes are given in small groups with a maximum of 9 participants.
